Dr. Kelcie Kappes
Veterinarian, Medical Director
Dr. Kelcie Kappes grew up in Wisconsin and earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Winona University. She then left the cold, moved to Arizona, and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Midwestern University.
She is passionate about urgent care, senior dog medicine, and preventative care for all pets.
A lifelong dog lover, Dr. Kappes has a special fondness for sheepdogs—especially Bearded Collies. She currently has one bearded collie, Wrigley, and a Shih Tzu, Trippy.
Outside of the clinic, she participates in agility with Wrigley and loves camping, hiking, and traveling. She also enjoys baking—especially sourdough—doing puzzles, and attempting to keep her plants alive.
Marissa
Hospital Director
Marissa is an Arizona native who has had a passion for animals her entire life. She attended the University of Arizona, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Sciences before becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT).
Throughout her career, Marissa has enjoyed working in veterinary medicine and being part of a team dedicated to providing exceptional care for pets and their families. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, and staying active whenever she can.
